Another choice between Pepsi or Coke has come and gone, with Boris Johnson exiting stage left, and Liz Truss being ushered into downing street within 24 hours as Britain’s next Prime Minister.
I watched CNN because I was stuck on an airplane for 13 hours and it was either that or Harry Potter or whatever on the console. They were breathlessly covering this announcement horse-race style as if it meant anything.
Right. My fellow Brits are captivated and after speaking to a wide range of people I know in the UK, they mostly seem indifferent, or a handful think "this time it will be different, I'm glad Boris is gone", or that "Liz Truss is the best of a bad bunch."
However, stepping away from the theatrical pantomime distractions, I believe that most Brits are entirely oblivious to the monetary system collapsing, the slave grid being built around them, and they'll mostly love their servitude :-(
