I'm glad you went with Socrates at the end. As I have told BlueSphynx and others I have been alienated from many a Thai expat thread over at least the last decade well before Covid by blatant depopulationists on them. Perhaps because I am a biological woman and a mother to boot I was put off by them. I suppose I envisioned a sort of sad man who had far too much time on his hands but who couldn't view with love the helplessness and adoration of a baby. I think the same party fouls are committed by those ostensibly on our side though: those who dismiss without question anyone who got jabbed for any reason, because they "had a choice." It lacks empathy and I see it as much akin to siding with a rapist who points a gun at his victim's head...
